Scott Pfeil

Scott Pfeil joined the News On 6 sports team in July of 2012.

Scott has more than 20 years of experience in sports journalism, including 19 right here in Tulsa. He started his professional career at WXVT in Greenville, MS in 2003. He covered Mississippi Valley State, Delta State, Mississippi Delta Community College, as well as many high schools across the Mississippi Delta. He moved to Tulsa in 2006 to become the executive producer/photographer for all of the Oklahoma State University coaches shows.

During his 2+ decades in sports journalism, Scott has covered all of the big sporting events: Super Bowl, World Series, NBA Finals, College Football National Championship games, multiple bowl games, multiple NCAA Tournaments, College World Series (both baseball and softball), multiple golf majors, as well as various conference tournaments and high school state championships.

Scott is a true Oklahoman. He was born and raised in Shawnee and went to college at both OU and OSU.
