  • You can receive alerts from multiple locations, including your current location (no matter where you are!), where your kids or parents live, or the location of a cabin/vacation home.

  1. Download or update the News On 6 Weather app from the App Store for your iPhone, or the Play Store for your Android.
  2. Tap the My Locations icon in the top right of the screen to select the alerts you’d like to receive. You may also add up to 16 locations to monitor and customize the alerts for those as well!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Tap the My Locations icon at the top right of the app.
  • Under the Custom Locations section, tap the + to add a location.
  • Search by city, zip or address, and select the desired location once it appears.
  • Add a nickname for your location.
  • Then tap the Save button in the top right corner.

NOTE: Here you can also set what alerts you wish to receive via notifications

  • Tap the My Locations icon at the top right of the app.
  • Tap the triangle next to the location you'd like to set as your default location.
  • Tap the star icon labeled "Default" to set your default location.
  • Tap the My Locations icon at the top right of the app.
  • Tap the triangle next to the location you'd like to delete.
  • Tap the "Delete" icon to remove that location.
  • Tap the My Locations icon at the top right of the app.
  • Tap the triangle next to the location you'd like to receive/change alerts for.
  • Tap the "Edit" icon.
  • Select the alerts you'd like to receive for that location.
  • Tap the Save button in the top right corner.
