- Download or update the News On 6 Weather app from the App Store for your iPhone, or the Play Store for your Android.
- Use the “Settings” in the top right of the screen to select the alerts you’d like to receive. You may also add up to five locations to monitor and customize the alerts for those as well!

How do I set a location?
- Press the menu icon located at the top right of the app.
- Select Location
- Press Add Location
- Search by city, zip code or address, and select the city name when it appears.
NOTE: Here you can also set what alerts you wish to receive via notifications.
How do I set a default location?
- Press the menu icon located at the top right of the app.
- Select Location
- Press on triangle to the left of the city name.
- Press the star icon to set the default location.
How do I delete a location?
- Press the menu icon located at the top right of the app.
- Select Location
- Press on triangle to the left of the city name.
- Press Delete
How do I set or edit alerts?
- Press the menu icon located at the top right of the app.
- Select Location
- Press on triangle to the left of the city name.
- Press Edit
- Under Alert Preferences check the box of the alerts you want to receive via notifications. Uncheck any alerts you do not want sent to your device.
