Numerous Local College Products shine on Saturday during Week One of the NFL Preseason

The Chiefs opened the NFL Preseason at the Cardinals. Former OU start quarterback and Heisman winner Kyler Murray did start for Arizona. Murray went 7 of 8 in a few series to go with 96 passing yards. He did throw an interception.

On the other side, star quarterback Patrick Mahomes started for Kansas City. Mahomes threw one pass, and it was a touchdown to Jason Brownlee. The Cardinals won 20 to 17.

Other stat lines from local products:

Former OSU quarterback Mason Rudolph started for the Steelers. Rudolph went 9 of 10 for 84 yards with one touchdown.

Former Bixby standout and OSU wide receiver Brennan Presley caught a 5-yard touchdown pass for the Rams in their 31-21 victory over the Cowboys. Former OU wide receiver Drake Stoops had two catches for 28 for the Rams as well.

Moore native Cam Little had the highlight of the night on Saturday drilling a 70-yard field goal for the Jaguars. That would have broken the NFL record by four yards. Little was a perfect 4-4 on field goals for Jacksonville.
