The Tulsa Oilers turned the ball over five times, 4 interceptions and a fumble, and couldn't overcome a slow start in a 58-26 loss in the IFL Eastern Conference Quarterfinals at Green Bay, WI, on Sunday. The Oilers went 1-2 against the Green Bay Blizzard this season.

Tulsa would fumble on its opening possession inside the red zone, and the Blizzard marched down the field and took a quick 7-0 lead thanks to a Kymani Clarke touchdown reception. In Tulsa's second red zone trip, Sam Castronova would throw an interception from the four-yard line while trying to avoid a sack. Green Bay would lead 7-0 after the first quarter.

The Blizzard opened the second quarter with a deep touchdown pass from Max Meylor to Andre Williams to push the lead to 14-0. The Oilers finally found the end zone with a three-yard rushing touchdown to the right side by Castronova to cut the deficit to 14-7. Tulsa would add another touchdown in the period with a Cole Blackman seven-yard TD reception, but the Blizzard would take a 24-14 lead into halftime.

Green Bay would find the end zone on its opening drive of the second half to push the lead to 31-14. The Blizzard would pick off Castronova for the second time, and would turn that into seven more points to lead 38-14. Isiah Scott would score on a red zone touchdown pass to cut the deficit to 38-20, but Green Bay would head into the 4th quarter with a 25-point lead.

Tulsa's final touchdown of the afternoon would come on a Carl Robinson II touchdown pass to Blackman. Green Bay would go on to win 58-26 to advance to the second round of the playoffs.

Tulsa finished the regular season with a franchise-best 10-6 record and made their first playoff appearance in franchise history.
