History was made on Sunday with the Tulsa Oilers playing in their first ever Indoor Football League postseason game.

Riding a three-game winning streak into the playoffs, Tulsa entered the first round game at Green Bay full of confidence. However, turnovers proved costly and a big third quarter by the Blizzard put the game out of reach.

The Blizzard outscored the Oilers 21 to 6 in the third and in the end, Tulsa's season came to a close with a 58-26 loss.

Tulsa quarterback Sam Castronova, who was 3-0 since taking over as the starter, threw four costly interceptions. In all, the Oilers turned the ball over five times while Green Bay was clean in the turnover department.

Owning the number one offense in the league, Blizzard QB Max Meylor put on a show throwing for over 210 yards to go with four touchdowns. The Blizzard also added four rushing touchdowns on the ground.

Tulsa finished the regular season with a franchise best 10 wins.
