The Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office arrested the executive director of the Tulsa Area Emergency Management Agency on Thursday morning, accused of possessing child pornography.

Joseph Kralichek was taken into custody early Thursday, according to officials. He's now charged with one count of possession of child pornography.

"Child sex abuse is widespread and continues to rise with devastating effects on our children and families," said TCSO Sheriff Vic Regalado during a press conference detailing the charges. "We will continue to be vigilant in identifying and apprehending these predators."

Sheriff Regalado said a warrant was served at Kralichek's home at 6 a.m. The warrant stemmed from a tip received ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children).

"Numerous images and videos consistent with violations of Oklahoma's child pornography laws were found on the social media account that was linked to Mr. Kralichek's IP address," the sheriff stated.

CHARGE FOR KRALICHEK

  1. Possess, procure, manufacture, distribute, or sell CSAM.
