Muskogee County District Attorney Larry Edwards found dead

The Muskogee Police Department said District Attorney Larry Edwards was found dead in his home Monday morning.

TULSA, Okla. -

The Muskogee Police Department said District Attorney Larry Edwards was found dead in his home Monday morning.

Officers responded to the house at N. 45th St. and North Denison Street just after 8 a.m. in response to a welfare check.

When officers went inside, they found Edwards unresponsive. At this time, authorities say there is nothing suspicious.

The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.

No other details have been released.
