Babudar was transferred to Tulsa earlier this year from a high-security federal prison in Colorado at the request of the Tulsa County District Attorney.
He is currently serving a 17.5-year federal sentence after pleading guilty to a string of bank robberies across several states. Prosecutors said Babudar used the stolen money to fund his travel to Kansas City Chiefs games.
The robberies occurred while Babudar was on the run, having cut off his ankle monitor while out on bond.
