A man riding a motorcycle died during a crash involving a car in the eastbound lanes of the Broken Arrow Expressway on Monday.

Broken Arrow Police said it happened around 1 a.m. when the motorcycle rider, identified as 37-year-old Scott Allen Zinn, rear-ended a vehicle near Aspen Avenue and lost control. BAPD said Zinn died at the scene after first responders attempted life-saving measures.

According to investigators, Zinn was speeding when he struck another vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.

All eastbound lanes between North Aspen and North Elm on the Broken Arrow Expressway are now back open after being closed while authorities investigated.
