A Broken Arrow dentist has agreed to pay more than $500,000 to the state of Oklahoma following allegations that he submitted false claims to SoonerCare over a multi-year period.

According to the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office, Dr. Rocky Collins was accused of billing for services that were either not provided or not medically necessary. The alleged misconduct includes double billing for procedures, charging for excessive units of anesthesia, and billing for tobacco cessation counseling for patients who did not use tobacco.

State investigators say the false claims were submitted between January 2021 and July 2024.
