The initiative, called “Backpacks and Boarding Passes,” runs August 11 through August 16 at two Service Oklahoma locations: one in Muskogee and another at The Farm shopping center in Tulsa near 51st and Sheridan.
During the week, the offices will be open for appointments from 6 to 8 p.m., and on Saturday, August 16, from 1 to 5 p.m.
The event is specifically geared toward those needing to renew or obtain a driver’s license or get a Real ID, which will be required for domestic air travel beginning May 7, 2025.
Appointments can be made online through Service Oklahoma’s scheduling system. Officials encourage residents to bring the required documents to avoid delays.
