Tulsa Nostalgia Con is making its debut in the city on Saturday, June 14, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Gateway Tulsa Event Center, located at 851 E. Admiral Blvd.
The pop culture convention, now in its sixth overall edition, is expanding to Tulsa after five successful events in Glenpool.
This year’s event features a wide variety of nostalgic and collectible items for attendees to shop and explore, including toys, comics, retro video games, VHS tapes, Y2K-era clothing, anime, cosplay, Pokémon merchandise, and original artwork.
A selection of food trucks and a mobile bartender will be on site, along with free giveaways and complimentary weekend street parking.
Tickets are priced at $10 for adults, while children 12 and under get in free. Tickets can be purchased online at tulsacomiccon.com.
Several pop culture personalities are scheduled to attend, including comedian Andy Dick (“NewsRadio,” “Road Trip,” “The Ben Stiller Show”), actor Josh Fadem (“30 Rock,” “Twin Peaks,” “Better Call Saul”), illustrator Jerry Bennett of Oklahoma City, and voice actor P.J. Sosko, known for roles in “Grand Theft Auto IV” and “Red Dead Redemption 2.”
The convention will debut new entertainment options, such as a live skateboarding showcase by athletes from WoodPushers Skateboard Company, performing tricks on halfpipes and ramps.
Additionally, a car culture exhibit from Arkansas will showcase signature builds ranging from vintage classics to custom modern designs.
Fans can stay up to date with Tulsa Nostalgia Con through social media on Facebook and Instagram.
