Fatal Shooting in Tulsa: Police Question Witnesses After Fight Turns Violent

Tulsa Police are on the scene of a fatal shooting near 816 South Atlanta Ave.

According to TPD, Officers arrived to find a man in his 40s dead from a gunshot wound inside a home.

Another man involved in the shooting had left the area, but he was found nearby as more officers arrived. That man was taken downtown for questioning.

Police say the man who was killed lived at the home. They believe a 41-year-old man showed up at the house Tuesday morning, possibly invited by someone else who lives there, and got into an argument with the victim.

The fight turned violent when both men pulled out guns and shot at each other. The man who lived at the home died from his injuries. The other man was not hurt.

Right now, he has not been arrested. Police at the scene said at least two people were involved in the shooting, and at least one person was taken in for questioning.
