There is a tornado warning just south of the Tulsa viewing area, near Atoka. News On 6 Storm Trackers and meteorologists are watching conditions closely in case the storm moves into Pittsburg County.
Heavy rains continue to fall from Miami to McAlester, Oklahoma.
8:30 p.m.
A Tornado Watch has been issued for Pushmataha County, Oklahoma until 10:00 p.m.
8:15 p.m.
Heavy rains are falling west of Miami and stretch south to Claremore, Oklahoma.
News On 6 Storm Tracker Bob Rohloff is near Porter and reported the system is calming down, though heavy rain is still falling.
Aerial flood advisories are in effect in far northeast Oklahoma and into Kansas.
A strong storm is headed to Kiowa and Pittsburg County to the east and could strengthen within the next few hours.
7:47 p.m.:
A tornado warning is in effect for Coal County, moving NE towards Pittsburgh County near Kiowa.
7:31 p.m.:
A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Tulsa, Wagoner, Muskogee, and Okmulgee counties

Rotation that was coming into Skiatook and Sperry has weakened quite a bit. Strong winds remain.
A severe storm stretching from Sapulpa to Okmulgee is about to bring some very strong winds to sthe outh sides of the Tulsa metro, and we’re still watching closely for small areas of rotation. Hunker down!
7:12 p.m.:
A line of severe storms are marching through Eastern Oklahoma, with one active tornado warning moving near Skiatook.

A tornado watch is in effect until 10 p.m. for portions of NE OK.
