Due to the potential for severe storms on Monday, the final installment of the City of Tulsa’s Community Conversation series has been rescheduled. Originally planned for Monday, the event will now take place on Thursday, May 22, at the same time and location: 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Crossover Community Impact, 1010 E. 36th St. N.
The decision follows guidance from the National Weather Service, with city officials prioritizing community safety as storms are expected to move through the area Monday evening.
The Tulsa Community Conversation will feature Mayor Monroe Nichols, District 1 Councilor Vanessa Hall-Harper, District 3 Councilor Jackie Dutton, and City Auditor Nathan Pickard, among other city leaders. This event marks the final stop in the series following well-attended gatherings in South, East, West, and Midtown Tulsa.
'The future Tulsa we’re building must be rooted in listening and lifting every voice,' said Mayor Monroe Nichols. 'I hope we will have a strong showing in Tulsa to gain further feedback as we work to strengthen our community together.'
Attendees will have the chance to speak one-on-one with city department leaders and staff to ask questions, share concerns, and learn more about local resources and initiatives. Departments and services represented include:
