Josh Wright, a local musician and frontman of Midwest Ghost, is scheduled to perform May 17 at Nineteen0Eight, located at 311 1/2 Dewey Ave. in downtown Bartlesville.
Wright and his band represent the heart of Bartlesville’s music scene. Their original sound blends old-time, bluegrass, gospel and Americana with a gritty, punk-inspired edge. The group has gained attention for its ability to fuse traditional roots with modern energy, creating a style that feels both familiar and fresh.
“Being a musician in Bartlesville means carving out creativity in unexpected corners,” Wright said. “It’s a small town, but there’s real heart here—and that makes the music feel more personal. One of my favorite places to play is The Nineteen0Eight, because it’s a true listening room. People come for the music, not just as background noise.”
Tickets for the show can be purchased at tables.hostmeapp.com, and additional event details are available on the Facebook event page.
