Turley woman arrested, accused of buying marijuana for teen son

Tulsa County deputies arrested a woman accused of purchasing marijuana for her 16-year-old son and later attacking him with a plastic chair.

Deputies said they found marijuana in the teenager’s bedroom while executing a search of Heather Shepard’s home in Turley in April.

According to investigators, Shepard admitted she allows her son to smoke marijuana and buys it for him.

As deputies were leaving the residence, they say Shepard struck her son with a red plastic children's chair.

Shepard is charged with assault and purchasing drugs for a minor.
