Broken Arrow man arrested, accused of raping 16-year-old girl

Tulsa county prosecutors charge 23-year-old Jonathan Sanders, of Broken Arrow, with first-degree rape.

According to Broken Arrow police, the 16-year-old victim and Sanders met on Snapchat.

The victim told detectives she agreed to go out with Sanders in December.

On that date, the victim told investigators Sanders drove her to two separate locations and raped her.

Police say GPS and surveillance video support the victim's statement.

Sanders told police he sent the victim a message after the incident, saying he was sorry if he pushed her too far.
