Authorities are searching for a handcuffed suspect who fled on foot during a traffic stop in Hominy late Thursday night. Authorities say the suspect, identified as Justin Freeze, 41, eluded police around 11:30 p.m. near Walnut Ave and She She St, according to the Hominy Police Department.

Police say Freeze was last seen wearing a gray shirt with green on the back, dark Reebok joggers, and a hat. He was handcuffed behind his back at the time of the escape, according to police. Police say that his phone was later recovered near the Family Dollar.

Freeze is wanted out of Randall County, Texas, for sexual assault. Authorities describe Freeze as a white male, 5'11", 185 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes.

Hominy police were unable to pursue immediately. The department is now being assisted by Tulsa Police Department’s helicopter unit, Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Cleveland Police Department, and the Osage County Sheriff’s Office, with drones, helicopters, and ground units actively searching the area.

Authorities say Freeze has ties to the Osage area and was visiting a family member, who has since been arrested and booked into the Osage County Jail.

If you see Freeze, do not approach. Contact Osage County Dispatch immediately.
