Rogers State Hillcats Softball earns 4th-straight bid To NCAA Regionals

Rogers State will take on familiar-foe Pittsburg State in the opening game of the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

For the fourth-straight year, the Rogers State softball team has earned a bid to the NCAA Division II Softball Championship. The Hillcats heard their name called on Monday morning during the NCAA Selection Show.

The Hillcats are the Number 4 seed in the Edmond Regional, which is hosted by UCO. The Hillcats will take on a familiar foe in the first game, Pittsburg State. Host Central Oklahoma and Minnesota State make up the other 2 teams in the regional.

The Central Region is made up of teams from the MIAA, Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference and Great American Conference.

The double-elimination tournament will feature two games on Thursday, three games on Friday, with the Championship game on Saturday. Game times will be announced later this week.
