A year after opening its doors to clients in need, Macy’s Cradle Pregnancy Crisis Center is celebrating its official grand opening and ribbon cutting Thursday morning.
The center, located at 1500 S. Main St. in Sapulpa, is Creek County’s first and only pregnancy resource center. While it quietly began serving clients on May 1, 2024, Thursday marks the clinic’s formal debut to the community. The event includes a ribbon cutting, complimentary lunch and guided tours of the facility.
Macy’s Cradle provides all services at no cost to clients. Offerings include lab-quality pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, counseling, prenatal and parenting classes, OB care referrals and other vital resources.
'We are here to serve families facing unplanned pregnancies,' said Tamara Brock, president and founder of the nonprofit. 'We want the community to know they have a safe and supportive place to turn.'
As the first facility of its kind in the area, the center aims to address a major gap in pregnancy care and crisis services. Brock says the goal is to empower women and families by offering compassionate support and medically accurate resources in a nonjudgmental environment.
Macy’s Cradle is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. More information is available at macyscradle.org.
