A free event that has become a local staple for the 55-and-older community is back for its 33rd year. The Broken Arrow Senior Health and Resource Fair is set for Friday, April 25, offering a one-stop shop for health care information, city services, wellness resources and more.

The event, hosted by the Broken Arrow Senior Center, will run from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Central Park Community Center, 1500 South Main Street. It’s free and open to the public.

A Vital Resource for Seniors and Their Families

'This annual event is the only one of its kind in Broken Arrow, specifically tailored for older adults and their families,' said Kimberly Crenshaw, executive director of the Broken Arrow Senior Center. 'It’s an opportunity to explore options, get questions answered, and connect with service providers all in one place.'

The fair aims to support healthy, independent aging by offering access to key services and professionals.

What Attendees Can Expect

More than 100 booths will feature vendors offering everything from Medicare information and health screenings to leisure activities and independent living options. Free health screenings and live demonstrations will also be available throughout the day.

Guests can enjoy a complimentary lunch while learning more about programs designed to enrich the lives of seniors.

Supporting a Growing Community

The fair is also a fundraiser for the Broken Arrow Senior Center, which currently serves more than 3,200 active members age 55 and up. Proceeds help maintain a robust slate of weekly classes, fitness opportunities, and social activities that keep older adults engaged and thriving.

Inside the Senior Center

The Broken Arrow Senior Activity Center offers over 110 weekly programs—from yoga and tai chi to guitar jams, abstract painting, and domino tournaments. A full fitness center is available on-site, helping members stay active year-round.

The Center is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and operates as a nonprofit organization in partnership with the Tulsa Area United Way.
