1 killed, 1 injured in crash along L.L. Tisdale at Apache involving City of Tulsa workers

One person has died after a crash on the L.L. Tisdale Parkway where City of Tulsa workers were repairing potholes, authorities confirm.

TULSA, Okla. -

UPDATE: Tulsa Police say one person died in a crash on the L.L. Tisdale Parkway at East Apache on Thursday. TPD said the crash involved a City of Tulsa vehicle where city employees were repairing potholes.

Officers are still investigating the cause of the crash, but confirmed the fatality was not a city employee. The person killed has not been identified. TPD did say a city worker was hospitalized.

An investigation is ongoing.

Tulsa Police officers are working a crash that has closed the northbound lanes of the L.L. Tisdale Parkway at East Apache.

TPD shares on social media that the injury crash could take several hours to investigate.

"Please avoid the area if possible," TPD posted at 2:40 p.m.
