Tulsa police investigate stabbing at apartment complex

Tulsa Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred early Friday at an apartment complex near East 31st Street and 129th East Avenue.

Officers responded to the Astoria Pointe Apartments around 5 a.m. after a man called 911 requesting help.

When officers arrived, they found the victim unable to get up and open the door. Officers forced entry and discovered the man inside with multiple stab wounds, according to police.

The victim was taken to a hospital. His condition has not been released.

Investigators said the suspect was not at the apartment when officers arrived, but they have identified the individual and are actively searching for him.
