Food On The Move marked another month of impact in July, serving 879 families, providing 1,343 hot meals, and distributing 15,023 pounds of fresh produce to Tulsa residents in need.

The nonprofit is now preparing for three Community Food & Resource Festivals in August, bringing free groceries, hot meals, and access to local services together in one welcoming space.

The events are set for:

  1. Aug. 19 at Chamberlain Park from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
  2. Aug. 21 at TCC Northeast from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
  3. Aug. 26 at the Northwest Tulsa Hub from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Organizers say the festivals aim to not only address food insecurity but also connect residents with valuable community resources. Food On The Move encourages residents to attend, volunteer, or help spread the word to ensure more families can benefit from the program.
