Jazz on the Green is back for its sixth year, bringing smooth sounds and soulful vibes to downtown Tulsa.
The family-friendly music festival will take place Saturday, August 9, at Guthrie Green. Gates open at 5 p.m., with live music scheduled from 6 to 11 p.m.
Presented by Bill Knight Lincoln and produced by international recording artist and bassist Michael Fields Jr., Jazz on the Green features a mix of local, regional, national and international jazz talent. This year’s lineup includes performances from Tea Rush, Hank Bilal, Andrea Lisa, Michael Fields Jr., and Nathan Mitchell.
The event aims to entertain a broad and diverse audience with styles ranging from smooth and contemporary jazz to pop and R&B influences.
Organizers expect more than 2,500 music lovers to attend the festival, which also includes a variety of food trucks, vendor booths, a kids zone, and a splash pad.
Guests are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs and enjoy the evening outdoors.
While the festival is open to all ages, certain items are prohibited on the grounds. Attendees should leave outside food and drinks, coolers, large bags, tents, and pets at home.
Only service animals are allowed, and all carry-in items are subject to security screening.
