A Tulsa man charged with murder, who was out on bond, has been arrested again, accused of assaulting his girlfriend.

News On 6 reported on Noe Cruz last month after the judge in his murder case was removed from the case because she had a private meeting with Cruz in her chambers.

Tulsa County District Attorney Steve Kunzweiler is now asking the new judge to revoke Cruz's bond and keep him in jail.

What does the new arrest report for Cruz say?

The Tulsa Police fugitive warrant squad arrested Noe Cruz Monday night after he was accused of assaulting his girlfriend.

The arrest report says he took the victim's phone and when she tried to get it back, Cruz pushed her to the ground and threatened her. It says the victim grabbed her phone, and Cruz grabbed her arm and pushed her down and then threw her phone and broke it.

2023 Murder Case:

Cruz was charged with murder in 2023 for a deadly shooting near 21st and Garnett.

Judge Sharon Holmes later lowered Cruz's bond from $1,000,000 to $100,000 even though the DA objected.

Judge Holmes added house arrest, a curfew, random drug tests, and no firearms, but later removed house arrest and curfew and agreed to let Cruz leave the state for work.

Cruz decided earlier this year he wanted a trial in front of Judge Holmes instead of a jury trial, and he asked Judge Holmes to have a private meeting, so the two of them went into her office alone and no one knows what they talked about. In June, another judge ruled that the meeting violated the rules of the Code of Judicial Conduct and removed Holmes from the case.

Cruz now has a new judge for his murder case and has asked to get his jury trial back.

Prosecutors asking judge to revoke Cruz's bond:

Tulsa County prosecutors filed a motion Tuesday, asking the judge to revoke Cruz's bond in the murder case. In the motion, prosecutors say his actions are not only threatening and aggressive but show he's a danger and should be held without bond for public safety.

News On 6 called Cruz's attorney asking for a comment, but haven't heard back.
