Juvenile in custody after Tulsa home invasion, stabbing

A juvenile is in custody after a man was stabbed during a home invasion near East 51st Street and County Line Road, according to Tulsa police.

Officers responded to the area shortly after midnight on Friday after a man called 911, saying he had been stabbed and didn’t know where the attacker was.

The victim told officers he had heard glass breaking and found someone inside his home. A fight broke out, and the man was stabbed several times before the suspect ran off.

While officers were investigating, a second call came in from a nearby home where a juvenile male with injuries had shown up asking for help. Police say the teen matched the description given by the victim.

Both the man and the juvenile were taken to the hospital. The teen was later taken into custody.
