Big Dipper Creamery is marking National Ice Cream Day with the release of six new handcrafted flavors, available Sunday from noon to 9 p.m. at all its Tulsa-area locations.

Designated in 1984 by President Ronald Reagan, National Ice Cream Day is celebrated each July, giving fans a reason to indulge in the frozen treat. Big Dipper is joining the fun by showcasing its creativity and commitment to local sourcing.

Each of the new flavors highlights ingredients from Oklahoma farms. “Shuck It to Me” is made with sweet corn grown by Shelby and Ross Produce in Webbers Falls, while “Hey Porter” blends ripe Porter peaches with sweet tea for a peach tea–inspired ice cream. “Sage Against the Machine” combines sweet tea and blackberries from Joe’s Farm with a hint of sage for a unique twist.

Other new creations include “Midnight Rider,” a dark chocolate ice cream with a chocolate ganache swirl and miso brownie pieces; “Bless Your Heat,” featuring a bold mix of cream cheese and habanero peppers; and “T-Town Missou,” a take on classic tiramisu with ladyfingers and espresso flavor.

Big Dipper Creamery has locations at:

  1. Brookside—3633 S. Peoria Ave.
  2. Sand Springs—120 N. Main Street
  3. Mother Road Market—1124 S. Lewis Ave.
  4. NOMA—2219 E. 11th Street
