UPDATE 7/24/2025:
A fourth suspect was arrested in connection with DeVontae Hanson's death in Okmulgee County on July 12.
The OSBI said that Ashlee Vann, 33, was arrested for accessory to second-degree murder by Tulsa Police on July 24. She was booked into the Tulsa County jail, according to the OSBI.
Authorities previously arrested three suspects on July 21: Shamarcus Powdrill, 37, Kadijha Sykes, 28, and Stevie Perry Jr., 35.
Powdrill and Perry Jr., are charged with second-degree murder and Sykes is charged with accessory to second-degree murder.
The OSBI said the investigation is still ongoing.

UPDATE 7/21/2025:
Three people are arrested in connection with the shooting death of a 25-year-old man in Okmulgee on July 12, 2025.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) said the investigation led them to Shamarcus Powdrill, 37, Kadijha Sykes, 28, and Stevie Perry Jr., 35.
CHARGES:
This comes after authorities responded to a shooting just after midnight on July 12 in Okmulgee, where DeVante Hanson, 25, was found with a gunshot wound. He later died at a local hospital.
Perry Jr. was arrested on July 21 and booked into the Okmulgee County Jail. Sykes was arrested in McKinney, Texas, by the OSBI and McKinney Police. She's booked in the Collin County jail. Powdrill was arrested by the Oakland, California, Police Department on unrelated charges and was booked at the Alameda County Jail, according to the OSBI.

The OSBI is investigating after a 25-year-old man was shot and killed in Okmulgee on Saturday.
Officers with the Okmulgee Police and the Muscogee Creek Nation Lighthorse Police responded to the shooting call just after midnight early Saturday morning. This was near Martin Luther King Street and North Wilson Avenue.
When law enforcement arrived at the scene, they found DeVontae Hanson, 25, with a gunshot wound.
He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died, the OSBI said.
So far, no arrests have been made, and an investigation is ongoing. The OSBI is asking for anyone with information on this case to contact them at their tip line: 1-800-522-8017.
