Rising water levels have forced the closure of both eastbound and westbound lanes of Highway 20 near Skiatook, according to the Skiatook Police Department.
11 AM UPDATE:
Skiatook Police said rising waters have closed the following roads:
"Water is anticipated to crest in Avant around 1300 hours (1:00 PM). Based on this, cresting in the Skiatook area is not expected until approximately 2200 hours (10:00 PM) tonight," Skiatook Police said.
Drivers are urged to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
