Thunder fans are getting all kinds of gear to cheer on their team before Game 5 in the NBA Finals.

The Oklahoma City Thunder section at Dick’s House of Sport in Tulsa has its fair share of excited Thunder fans.

THUNDER AROUND THE WORLD

Fans like Will Krischke were getting some gear to make sure the Thunder were represented, halfway across the world.

"I'm headed to Europe for Game S6 and 7, I've got to go represent,” said Krischke. “Going to be in Ireland for the last two games. Got to find an Irish pub that's playing the games at one in the morning."

He’s seen just how important the Oklahoma City Thunder are even outside the state.

"I was in Toronto for Game 1, the heartbreaker of Game 1, and met a Maori guy at a conference I was going to from New Zealand, who is a huge Thunder fan,” said Krischke.”So we went and found a sports bar and ate some wings and watched the Thunder lose a heartbreaker."

He’s hoping for some special permission to buy an SGA jersey.

"I don't know if I can pull off the orange jersey given my particular coloring, but at least grab a hat and I would love to get an SGA jersey,” Krischke joked. “I don't know if my wife will let me wear it, but we'll see."

He loves how sports can tie people together.

"I go all of these places and I'm not even sure people know where Oklahoma is, we're flyover territory, but you go and find Thunder fans in these places that just love this team, love the way they play basketball,” said Krischke. “Instant connection."

SUPPORTING THE MVP

Olivia and Judah Youngwirth are checking out some of the T-shirts and jerseys of their favorite player, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

"I think it's Shai because he's a really good player and is super tall so he's able to shoot the baskets,” said Olivia Youngwirth.

"I wanted to come here because I feel like the stuff is really cool,” said Judah.

Both are excited to watch the game Monday.

"I hope that the Thunder are going to win because they've been doing really good in the games,” said Olivia Youngwirth.

FOLLOWING IN DAD’S FOOTSTEPS

Kamden Pacheco says she got into watching the Thunder games because of her father.

"Whenever my dad started watching it, I was like maybe I should watch it too because I really like basketball,” said Pacheco. “I've been watching it on TV a lot."

Her favorite player is also SGA.

"I watch him a lot doing stuff,” said Pacheco. “One time I saw him do like a twist into dunk and I was like wow, that was cool!"

She believes the Thunder will play well Monday.

"You got it, you can do it, you're going to do really good,” said Pacheco.

WHAT’S NEXT

Monday’s game starts in Oklahoma City at 7:30 p.m.

Dick’s says if the Thunder do win it all, the store will open right after the final buzzer for fans to get their championship gear and again at 7 a.m. the next morning.
