1 dead in crash on Highway 75 near Glenpool; police arrest 2nd driver

One person is dead and another is in custody after a crash early Wednesday morning on Highway 75 near 136th Street South, according to Glenpool police.

Officers responded around 4:30 a.m. and found an adult male driver dead at the scene. He was the sole occupant of one of the vehicles involved.

The driver of the second vehicle left the scene on foot before authorities arrived. Police have taken a male into custody and who is being held on complaints of driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene.

No other passengers were involved in the crash.

Both southbound lanes of Highway 75 were closed as investigators processed the scene and have since reopened.
