An English riding center blending tradition, history, and a design that puts the needs of horses first is now open in Jenks.

Eighteen Acres Farm's new facility has full-service horse training and a boarding center that specializes in the hunter/jumper discipline and offers riding lessons, equine therapy, and sales.

The riding center features indoor and outdoor arenas with top-tier footing systems, oversized climate-controlled stalls, and amenities for equine conditioning and rehabilitation, including an aquatic treadmill, vibrational therapy equipment, and a covered walker pen. Grass turnouts and 24/7 surveillance are also part of the farm’s horse-first design.

A public open house was held Sunday, June 1, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Among the special guests were Oklahoma Lt. Gov. Matt Pinnell, Jenks Mayor Cory Box, Tulsa County Commissioner Lonnie Sims, and other local leaders.

The property sits on land once part of the historic Perryman Ranch, which originally spanned over 60,000 acres. Allotted to the Perryman family, civic and tribal leaders of the Muscogee Nation, the ranch was home to Tulsa’s first post office, tribal council gatherings, and a thriving cattle operation. Only 80 acres remain today, and Eighteen Acres Farm says honoring that history is woven into every element of the project.
