Fire destroys Sand Springs mobile home, investigation underway

Fire crews and sheriff’s deputies are investigating a mobile home fire that broke out early Friday morning west of Highway 97 North and Highway 412.

Firefighters with the Sand Springs Fire Department say the fire started around 2 a.m. No one was inside the home at the time of the fire.

Investigators looking into the cause

The Osage County Sheriff’s Office is assisting in the investigation. Authorities have not yet determined what sparked the fire.

Home a total loss

Crews say the mobile home is a complete loss. Photos and video from the scene show the structure heavily damaged, with parts of the frame charred and collapsed.

No injuries reported

Fire officials confirmed no one was injured, and no other structures nearby were affected.

What’s next in the investigation

The fire remains under investigation. Officials say they will continue examining the scene in hopes of learning more about what caused the blaze.
