A sweet slice of nature is bringing smiles across Oklahoma, thanks to a new video showing a black bear family enjoying a quiet moment in the wild.
Wildlife photographer Desi Branson Cline shared footage from the Kiamichi Mountains near Honobia, where she captured a momma bear standing up for a satisfying back scratch against a tree. At her feet, two playful cubs can be seen tumbling and exploring the forest floor.
Cline spends countless hours patiently tucked away in the woods, waiting for magical moments like this one.
Black bears are more active this time of year, especially in southeastern Oklahoma, where sightings are more common. Wildlife experts remind visitors and locals alike to admire these animals from a safe distance and never attempt to approach.
