Broken Arrow school officials are rescheduling high school graduation ceremonies due to severe weather risks Monday evening in northeastern Oklahoma. The district made the announcement Sunday.
Monday is expected to bring a third round of strong storms that could produce hail, strong winds, and tornadoes.
Sunday afternoon, large hail fell in parts of northeast Oklahoma near Pryor, and multiple tornadoes were spotted in far western Oklahoma Sunday evening.

Broken Arrow school officials shared the following statement on the district's web page.
Due to the forecast of severe weather tomorrow evening, the Class of 2025 Graduation has been rescheduled for Tuesday, May 20. Gates will open at 5:30 pm and the event will begin at 7 pm. Seniors will be excused from attendance at school tomorrow, Monday, May 19, unless they are at risk of failing a class and need to prepare for and take final exams. Seniors will also be excused on Tuesday - graduation day – and Wednesday if in attendance at Project Graduation.
Project Graduation has also moved to Tuesday, May 20, and registration for this event will be open from 10:30-11 pm at Broken Arrow High School.
The graduation ceremony will be streamed live on YouTube.
