One dead in Collinsville house fire

A person has died following a two-story house fire north of Highway 20, authorities confirmed Sunday morning.

Authorities say the fire broke out at a residence on East Avenue, where Owasso Fire responded to assist Collinsville Rural Fire crews.

The Oklahoma State Fire Marshal’s Office confirmed the fatality. The victim's identity has not yet been released, and investigators have not said what may have caused the fire.
