Fallen Owasso police officers honored at state memorial service

Two Owasso police officers who died in 2021 were honored Friday at the Oklahoma Law Enforcement Memorial Services.

Officers Buddy Pales and Howard Smith passed away from complications related to COVID-19. Their families were escorted by members of the Owasso Police Honor Guard during the ceremony.

The department shared photos from the event on social media. Owasso's Amanda Foyle performed during the service.
