Elite law enforcement teams from across the state gathered in Tulsa earlier this week for the 18th annual Oklahoma SWAT competition, hosted by the Tulsa Police Department's Special Operations Team.

Held at TPD’s training division, the event brought together ten teams to compete in five rigorous challenges designed to test firearm accuracy, physical endurance, and tactical coordination.

After nine hours of demanding events, the Stillwater Police Department earned first place, with Broken Arrow Police securing second. As the reigning champions, Tulsa Police did not compete this year but served as the host agency, supporting and observing the event.

The competition continues to serve as an opportunity for Oklahoma’s SWAT teams to hone their skills and prepare for high-pressure situations in the field.
