Several Oklahoma schools suspending afternoon bus routes due to floodwater

Due to the flooding on roadways on Wednesday, several Oklahoma schools are not running bus routes for the afternoon.

Braggs Public Schools posted on Facebook that if arrangements cannot be made to pick up students, call the school to see if there are any alternative options.

Caney Valley Schools also posted this to Facebook:

Roadways continue to be an issue in many lowlying areas. Our buses will not be able to drop off students past flooded areas. If you need to come get your child, the absence will be excused. We are expecting for tomorrow to be the same situation. Our bus drivers have been directed to not drive through hazardous water. Thank you for your patience. We hope everyone remains safe through this flooding event.
