Ducklings keeping Broken Arrow firefighters busy: Multiple rescues this week

Two different Broken Arrow crews rescued some ducklings on Thursday.

One crew used a net and a bucket to pull 10 ducklings out of a storm drain near 41st Street and South 145th East Avenue.

Another crew rescued 13 ducklings near Marshall Elementary.

The firefighters said that because of their small size, ducklings can fall into storm drains when they're crossing the street.

They also said ducklings easily get swept into drains by flowing water.
