There are now two OSU quarterbacks in the transfer portal. CBS Sports was the first to report that Garret Rangel is searching for a new college home.

Rangel started five games in two seasons for the Cowboys, recording a fast start at BYU last October before breaking his collarbone on a long run.
Rangel had the most experience of the four quarterbacks battling for the starting job this spring, and completed 5 of 6 passes in the Orange and White spring game on Saturday.

As a freshman, injuries forced Rangel into an early start at Kansas in his first year of action, and he was part of OSU's three-quarterback rotation at the start of the 2023 season.
He joins Maealiuaki Smith, who entered the portal on Monday. The changes leave Zane Flores, who has yet to take a snap in a game, and TCU transfer Hauss Hejny as the only quarterbacks on the Cowboy roster.
