Southwest flight attendant injured during turbulence over Tulsa, NTSB investigating

The flight was descending into Tulsa from Dallas on Easter Sunday when turbulence struck, Southwest Airlines said.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is investigating after a Southwest Airlines flight attendant was injured during turbulence while descending into Tulsa on Easter Sunday, the airline said in a statement.

Southwest Airlines told News On 6 that Flight 2782 "encountered turbulence" while descending into Tulsa from Dallas on Sunday, resulting in the flight attendant being injured.

The exact cause of the injuries and the flight attendant's condition are unknown.

Southwest said that the injury is classified as an accident under NTSB reporting requirements

Now the NTSB will investigate and follow up on the incident.
