Mad Science summer camps planned across the Oklahoma City metro

Just because school lets out for the summer does not mean the learning has to stop.

On the Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages Porch, News 9 is talking to Professor Mad the Mad Scientist to learn more about summer camps for kids across the Oklahoma City metro.

Professor Mad says Mad Science of Central Oklahoma hosts summer programs for kids to give them an extra learning experience when they are not in school.

"Pretty much all over the metro area, we're going to have summer camps," Professor Mad said. "You can just go on our website and sign up, and they're going to be all summer long."

Professor Mad says Mad Science hosts camps at Mid-America Christian University in southwest Oklahoma City, the Multi-Activity Center in Edmond's Mitch Park and at Dodge City paintball in Yukon.

"This is a great thing for mom, a little break three hours a day in the morning," Professor Mad said. "Grandparents, you want to give a nice gift to your kiddos, then you can do that with your kids, get them into summer camp."
