Tulsa Parks is hosting a free fishing derby for children, where they can earn prizes and have a great time!
The event is open to children ages 6-15. Prizes will be awarded to the top anglers in each age group.
“Tulsa Parks is always looking for ways to help kids get outside and connect with nature- and this is one of our favorite ways to do it,” said Anna America, Deputy City Administrator and Director of Parks, Culture, and Recreation.
Participants are grouped by age, and prizes are awarded for the top anglers in each age group.
The event is on Saturday, May 3rd.
Braden Park, 5036 E. 7th Street in Tulsa.
Bring your own fishing equipment. A limited number of rods and worms will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
