After the rain cleared out, the Tulsa Botanic Garden welcomed guests for its annual Sip and Stroll fundraiser on Saturday evening, bringing together food, nature, and community support for one of the area’s most scenic attractions.
Local restaurants donated food and drink for the event, which gave guests the opportunity to explore the gardens and enjoy refreshments while supporting a good cause. The evening also featured access to the garden’s event center and exhibits, offering a relaxing outdoor experience just north of the city in Osage County.
Funds raised during Sip and Stroll go directly toward maintaining and expanding the garden’s programs and displays. Organizers also hope the event helps raise awareness about the garden’s offerings and encourages more visitors to become members.
“Hopefully, people who are looking for a little relaxation in nature can come up here to Osage County and just enjoy what we have here,” Chuck Lamson, the garden’s CEO, said.
Memberships and word-of-mouth promotion, Lamson said, are key to keeping the Tulsa Botanic Garden thriving as a top destination in the region.
