The next step for TU is back on the road against Louisiana Tech in Ruston.

It's a new opportunity for TU on the road this week after the 45-10 loss to Oklahoma State. The Golden Hurricane are ready to regroup and finish out the nonconference schedule with Louisiana Tech in Ruston.

“Big challenge, I don't think any games are “must wins,” but we're sitting here at 1-2, and there's a lot of teams in our conference that are kind of that similar place,” TU head coach Kevin Wilson said. How do you keep growing? Our deals got to be keep getting better day after day, week after week. So like to see us grow, and what I think is going to be potentially a really good game at six o'clock down in Ruston, so looking forward to the challenge.”

What's the key for TU this week?

Ravin: The defense cannot give up those big plays like it did against the Cowboys last week. And, the offensive line has to protect the quarterback better.

Poplin: This will be a bit of a different style of offense that TU will face against La. Tech. It's more of a traditional air raid approach that was seen from Texas Tech. That means lots of bubble screens, but the offense will incorporate the run game. Still, a very significant challenge for Tulsa going on the road to close out the nonconference season.
