With many districts across Oklahoma facing ongoing staffing shortages, Broken Arrow Public Schools is actively recruiting new transportation employees by hosting a job fair on Wednesday aimed at filling critical positions, chiefly addressing the bus driver shortage.

The job fair runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, at the Broken Arrow Performing Arts Center, located at 701 S. Main St.

Interested applicants should bring a copy of their driver’s license and a resume, if possible.
The bus driver shortage has affected districts across Oklahoma. Some districts, like Union Public Schools, have had to resort to cutting services and routes on certain days because of the severity of the driver shortage, pushing already limited staff to the limit.
