The defending NBA champion Oklahoma City Thunder will open the 2025-26 regular season in prime time as part of a new-look national television schedule that will make every game available on widely distributed streaming platforms.
Through the NBA’s renewed partnership with Disney and new deals with NBCUniversal and Amazon, fans can expect a consistent national broadcast rhythm this season: Mondays on Peacock, Tuesdays on NBC/Peacock, Wednesdays on ESPN/ESPN App, Thursdays on Prime Video, Fridays on Prime Video and ESPN/ESPN App, Saturdays on Prime Video in the afternoon and ABC/ESPN App at night, and Sundays on ABC/ESPN App in the afternoon and NBC/Peacock at night.
Every national game will also be available via streaming on the ESPN App, Peacock, or Prime Video, depending on the broadcaster. The league will also launch a new digital feature this season to help guide fans directly to live game streams via the NBA App, NBA.com, team platforms, and partner sites.

The 80th NBA season tips off Tuesday, Oct. 21, with the Thunder hosting the Houston Rockets (6:30 p.m. CT, NBC/Peacock) in their championship ring and banner ceremony. The nightcap will feature the Golden State Warriors visiting the Los Angeles Lakers.
Oklahoma City’s early-season slate includes marquee matchups such as a Finals rematch at Indiana on Oct. 23 (ESPN), a Western Conference Finals rematch against Minnesota on Nov. 26 (ESPN), and a Christmas Day home game against Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs (1:30 p.m. CT, ABC).

The Thunder will also compete in the Emirates NBA Cup group stage from Oct. 31 through Nov. 28, with knockout rounds in December. Two unassigned regular-season games in December will be determined by Cup results.
The SoFi NBA Play-In Tournament runs April 14-17 exclusively on Prime Video, with the NBA Playoffs beginning April 18. ABC will air the 2026 NBA Finals.
